As you plan for the end of the week, desperately hoping it comes faster; here are some movies that are coming out this week!
On Wednesday, ‘The Descendants’ featuring George Clooney, Shailene Woodly and Amara Miller comes out. It is the story of a land baron who tries to re-connect with his two daughters after his wife suffers a boating accident. This comedy/tear-jerker is apparently one of George Clooney’s best performances. Check out the preview below:
On Friday, there are two big movie releases that I think you absolutely have to go see: ‘Happy Feet 2’ and ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part.1’!
The ‘Happy Feet’ sequel, Happy Feet 2 has a plethora of well-accomplished actors including Sofia Vergara, Robin Williams, Elijah Wood, Pink, Common, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. So in this movie, Mumble’s son, Erik, is struggling to realize his talents in the Emperor Penguin world. Meanwhile, Mumble and his family/friends discover a new threat to their home – one that will take everyone working together to save them. These penguins are so cute, there is no one alive who could say this movie wasn’t adorable. Check out the preview below:
I’m sure you’ve heard about the new Twilight movie everywhere, if not just on this website! I am obsessed if you haven’t noticed. ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part.1’ comes out on Friday and I can guarantee that it will be mad. When I checked tickets two weeks ago, theaters were already sold out for the midnight showing! Can you imagine? Two weeks ago!!! This is the next biggest event after the Harry Potter releases (which are wayyy cooler, might I add). The last book was separated into two and the second part of the movie will only be released in 2012. So, in case you haven’t heard or seen commercials for this movie, here’s the description. The Quileute and the Volutri close in on expecting parents Edward and Bella, whose unborn child poses different threats to the wolf pack and the vampire coven. Expect lots of love and lots of fights! Check out the preview if you’ve been cut off from TV for the past couple of months or if you’re just a twi-hard like me (seriously I get chills watching it!)!
Let us know what you think of these three movies!
